Celebrity Clay Shoot
March 2-3, 2002 The
74 Ranch Resort was the host site for the annual Sugarbugs Celebrity Clay Shoot. This was the first time that the event was
held in the San Antonio area. More than
50 shooters participated in the clay shoot, which raised over
$20,000 for Sugarbugs, Inc. Sugarbugs,
Inc. was founded for the purpose of providing a support
network and programs for the families of children with
diabetes. Rather than fund research, Sugarbugs provides direct
assistance at the family level and works within school systems to
increase awareness. The
Celebrity Clay Shoot has become one of the most popular fundraising
events for Sugarbugs, Inc. Next year's clay shoot at the 74
Ranch Resort will be held February 28 & March 1, 2003.
