This is a one-on-one
guided hunt within the confines of our high-fenced area.
On Day 1, you
will arrive at the 74 Ranch for lunch and get settled into your
private room. Your guide will then escort you to the rifle range
to check your rifle. (It is always best to arrive sighted in, in
case the weather is too wet or windy to do so. A 30-caliber and
up is recommended for South Texas deer). After your trip to the
rifle range, you will be ready to hunt until dark. Dinner is served
about an hour after sundown. On Day 2, you will awaken early for
a full breakfast and head for the deer blind. You can come in for
lunch or stay out hunting until dinner. Days 3 and 4 follow the
same schedule as Day 2. On Day 5, you will hunt in the morning,
then return to the lodge for lunch, and prepare for your departure.
