We
release 35 birds per gun per hunt session (up to 2 sessions/day)! NO EXTRA
BIRD FEES! No processing fees!
You will arrive
at the 74 Ranch for a full breakfast, and then head out to the
fields. After the morning hunt, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
You could then try your hand at a round of clay targets at one of
our ranges, or simply relax if you wish. Around 3:00 p.m., you will
load up for an afternoon of quail hunting. At sunset, you will be
dropped off at the lodge for dinner while your birds are cleaned
and packed for your departure.

Please note that, for safety reasons, only
breech opening shotguns (side-by-side or over-and-under) are
allowed. If you do not own this type of gun, you are welcome
to borrow one of our. However, please call in advance to ensure
availability.
Also, all quail hunters at the 74 Ranch Resort are
required to wear eye protection in the
field. No exceptions will be made. If you forget to bring protective
eyewear, we have a few loaner goggles on hand as well as some for
sale.
